DAMAX Solutions conducted an evaluation of the Johnson and Johnson-supported Madrassa Early Childhood Care and Development (MECP) project. The purpose of this evaluation was to identify good practices and lessons learned from Phase 1 to guide the programming of Phase 2.
Additionally, it aimed to assess the health and early childhood development (ECD) status and practices within both existing and new communities involved in the project.
The study utilized a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative techniques. A sample of 80 households with young children aged 0-5 years was included to gather comprehensive insights into ECD practices and outcomes.
This evaluation provides valuable evidence to enhance the effectiveness of future project phases and improve outcomes for young children and their families in the targeted communities.
