DAMAX was hired to assess the impact, effectiveness, and sustainability of the project on identifying, eliminating and prevention of children from engaging from worst form of labor and increasing enrollment of these beneficiaries into formal education in Pemba and Unguja. The evaluation utilized both qualitative and quantitative methods to collect data from 500 respondents including children, care givers, Sheha, teachers, Shehia committees, women income generating groups, ministerial and district officials.
