DAMAX was contracted to evaluate PCI implementing project in Mara region (Bunda, Butiama, and Musoma districts). Project Concern International (PCI) in Tanzania is supporting the Government of Tanzania to strengthen delivery of quality education in the country at various levels.
PCI Tanzania’s Education Cascade Group (ECG) model has been integrated within its Food for Education (FFE III) program as a new and innovative component of the program focused on stimulating early learning among young children and preparing young children for preprimary school and beyond.
The primary principle or mechanism through which the intervention will achieve its objectives is by providing caregivers with new knowledge, skills, and self-efficacy to promote and provide early learning and other development opportunities in the home and support their children’s acquisition of key developmental skills/milestones.
