Under the USAID Heshimu Bahari Project, DAMAX Solutions conducted a survey and assessment to explore the ecological and economic dynamics of six key seascapes along Tanzania's East Coast. Covering areas such as Tanga, Pwani, Dar es Salaam, Mafia-Kilwa, and Mnazi Bay-Ruvuma, the team managed to reach 2,096 respondents, gathering critical data to guide marine conservation and community development policies.
Additionally, DAMAX prioritized empowering vulnerable groups, including women and youth, by implementing tailored livelihood projects to foster sustainable socioeconomic growth.
Collaborating with stakeholders across sectors, we design and implement interventions that reduce vulnerabilities while promoting sustainable development practices tailored to the needs of diverse populations.
