DAMAX Solutions is leading a pivotal hospital-based study in Mwanza Region to validate the Tropical Fever test, a new point-of-care diagnostic tool designed to rapidly and accurately determine the cause of acute febrile illnesses.

👥 Who: 861 outpatient clients presenting with fever
🔬 Study goal:
To systematically identify the etiology of fevers among patients and support the development and validation of the Tropical Fever test, a tool that holds promise for faster, more accurate diagnosis and better treatment outcomes in resource-limited settings.
This study represents a major step toward improving fever case management and enhancing diagnostic capacity in Tanzania and beyond.
